My work so far on Oink Splash Party at Team Chili, where I served as Co-Director and Art Director, alongside concept art, 3D animation, environment and character art, graphic design, and Unity implementation. Game development in progress and soon entering in Early Access.
One year ago, we kicked off production on Oink Splash Party. What started as an idea has grown into a fully playable online multiplayer game, built around our own movement systems, physics, interactions, and plenty of inflatable waterpark chaos!
It's been an incredibly fun and rewarding journey, taking the project from its initial concepts to a playable experience, shaping its visual identity, developing its characters and environments, and bringing everything together in-game.
A huge thank you to Álvaro Ortuño Morente and Pablo Carpentier, who have been part of this journey from day one. With Álvaro leading game design and Pablo leading technical development, we've been able to combine our different perspectives and build something we're all proud of.
We're now sharing a free demo on Steam, offering a first glimpse into what we've been building. You can experiment with our movement and physics, discover the game's interactions, and jump into public or private online matches with friends from around the world.
And we're only getting started. Our Oinks still have plenty of work ahead of them! We'll continue developing and expanding the game throughout Early Access, with more modes, content, and improvements on the way as we work towards the full 1.0 release.
The game is also part of Steam Next Fest, marking Team Chili's very first time participating in the event!
Finally, a big thank you to everyone who's contributed to the project so far along the way: Churi González, Felipe Hernández, Iñaki Ibarrola, Maria Galan, Alejandra López Fernández, Javier Blázquez Murillo, Patricia González Fernández, and all our early testers.
